My personal note

I am on a low carb high fat diet and stop eating at 6 pm till 8 am. That gives me a 14 hour daily fasting period. My body is slowly changing and adapting to bring my blood sugar levels back to normal.

The most important part for this to work is notice where you feel the panic/anxiety attack in your body and how you are reacting to the tension this creates. It is also helpful to rate the intensity (1 pretty low, 10 extreme) of the reaction so that you will have something to compare when you feel an improvement.

The Low Carb High Fat Way of Eating Is Not New

Just because the low carb high fat way of living is suddenly in the news does not mean that it is a new fad. Actually once something starts to make news headlines, it is no longer new. It just has bubbled up to the top.

LCHF has quite a history and then I came across this article that gives some background on how long the way of eating has been around.

People stick with this way of eating for a number of reasons. My personal reason is to control my blood sugar and it is working. Some people use it to lose weight, which was quite unexpected for me, but I am more than happy about it.

When I first looked into this way of eating, I discovered that is quite widespread in South Africa and restaurants even serve low carb high fat meals. So it took over 2 years to be talked about in Canada and the US media.

From personal experience, I totally agree with a low carb high fat way of eating. Calling it a diet is the wrong wording. It is a WOE – a way of eating that you will stay on doing for the rest of your life.

Every morning, British cardiologist Dr. Aseem Malhotra stirs one tablespoon of butter and one tablespoon of coconut oil into his coffee.

While it may not sound appetizing, the concoction — also known as “bulletproof coffee” — is popular among people who follow high-fat diets and modeled after yak-butter drinks consumed in Tibet for centuries. The combination, says Dr. Malhotra, gives him energy and “keeps me pretty full.”

My Experience with Essential Oils

It’s now 2.5 years (August 2016) since I got introduced to Essential Oils and using them has changed my life a lot.

My interest in essential oils is on the upswing again and I use the oils to assist in healing.

As a woman suffering from hair loss and did not know what to do. So I did some research and discovered that 2 oil are said to help regrow new hair. I started used a 2-3 drops of one oil with my shampoo and then later added 1 drop of another oil. After the first year I saw some improvement, but now after 2.5 years there is definitely a big improvement.

Together with changing my way of eating and using essential oils, I have just about accomplished to bring my diabetes under control.
